MINT WEBSITE DESIGN · POLICIES

Terms & Conditions

These Terms set out how we work together. Please read them before approving your quote.

Last updated: v2-2026-08

By approving your quote you ("you" or "the Client") agree to these Client Terms ("Terms") with Anthony, trading as Mint Website Design ("we", "us", or "the Web Developer").

"Task" means the specific website or digital work described in your quote. "Quote" means the fixed price and description we send you for the Task. "Fee" means the price stated in your Quote. "Services" means the work described in the Quote, carried out on a per-task basis — no lock-in contracts.

1. Quotes & engagement

Every Task is quoted individually with no obligation to proceed. A Quote is valid for 14 days from the date issued. Approving a Quote means you accept it and these Terms. Quotes are based on the information you provide; if the actual work differs from what was described, we'll let you know before any extra work begins.

2. Fees, deposit & payment

The Fee is the fixed price in your Quote. Once you approve your Quote, a 50% deposit of the Fee is required before any work begins ("Deposit"). The remaining 50% balance is due on completion of the Task, prior to the work being published or handed over, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We'll confirm accepted payment methods when invoicing. Work will not commence until the Deposit is received. Late payment of the balance may pause delivery or delay handover of the work.

3. Delivery & turnaround

Most small Tasks are completed within 24–48 hours; your Quote will state an estimated timeframe. Any timeframe or turnaround stated in a Quote is an estimate only and not a guaranteed completion date. Timeframes depend on receiving timely information, content, feedback and access from you, and on factors outside our control such as third-party platforms, hosting, and plugin behaviour. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If delays occur, we'll notify you and agree a revised timeframe. Timeframes commence from the date the Deposit is received and all required access and information has been provided.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, timely responses, and the access or logins needed to complete the Task (for example CMS, hosting, or platform credentials). You confirm you have the authority to authorise the work on the site or account in question. Delays in providing these may affect the timeframe and Fee.

5. Scope & revisions

The Quote covers the specific Task described. Reasonable tweaks to deliver that Task as described are included. Additional work, new requests, or changes beyond the agreed scope will be quoted separately and agreed before we proceed.

6. Changes to the Task

If you change the scope after work begins, we'll let you know how it affects the Fee and timeframe before continuing. We'll do our best to accommodate reasonable changes.

7. Third-party platforms & access

We work across platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow and custom HTML. We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party platforms, plugins, themes, or hosting beyond the Task scope. Where you provide access, you remain responsible for your accounts and data — we recommend changing any shared credentials after the Task is complete.

8. Warranties

We warrant that the Services will be performed with reasonable skill and care. If something we've delivered isn't right, we'll fix it at no extra cost provided you notify us within 7 days of completion. This doesn't cover issues caused by third-party changes, content you add, or work outside the agreed scope.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any Task is limited to the Fee paid for that Task. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of income, or loss of data arising from third-party platforms or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Intellectual property

On payment of the Fee in full, you own the work created for your Task to the extent it is assignable. We may retain rights to any pre-existing tools, code, or templates we use, and we may reference the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

11. Confidentiality & privacy

We keep your information confidential and use it only to deliver the Services and communicate with you. We won't share your details with third parties except where needed to complete the Task (for example your hosting provider).

12. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel a Task before work starts at no cost. If work has begun, you pay for the work completed up to the point of cancellation. Refunds for completed work are at our discretion where the delivered result is defective and cannot be rectified.

13. Communication

Most communication is by email. We may use your email and phone to contact you about your Task. Approving your quote online here replaces any "reply to confirm" step and serves as your written agreement to proceed.

14. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version you agree to is recorded with your approval.
